The Service Operations Development NCE Department delivers customized solutions for up-tower repairs, crane less solutions or cost out initiatives to the NCE (Northern & Central Europe) Service regions. Effective collaboration with WTG (Wind Turbine Generator) Engineering Support / Construction and CIM (Continuous Improvement Management) department.

QUALIFICAITIONS

  • General technical or equivalent training
  • Ability to work at heights and physical fitness as well as very high security awareness
  • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate of implementation on site
  • Very good knowledge of the Vestas product range
  • System and process knowledge, e.g. B. Vestas Technical Documentation / Problem Solving
  • 5 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position and experience in the wind energy industry
  • Proficient in MS Office and possesses advanced computer skills
  • Basic knowledge of project management
  • Driving license
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 70% travelling in the NCE region)
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional and team environment (NCE)
  • Highly effective in interpersonal interactions and communication
  • Very good English language skills
Responsibilities
  • Support on CIM Pre-Assessment (Review of repair instructions / technical feasibility / availability of tools and materials)
  • Act as Lead Technician / Instructor on CIM WI for regional Technicians and Subs during implementation (Plan / organize and conduct technical / practical training or briefings in the field)
  • Serve as the Lead Technician and oversee while conducting quality assessments for important CIM Cases
  • Act as CIM Technician on demand for specific cases
