Job Summary RapidFire Safety & Security is looking for a Service Technician who will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining alarm equipment, as well as ensuring that it meets safety and quality standards. Responsibilities: · Familiarity with fire alarm, intrusion detection, access control, and video surveillance systems required. · Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and systems to ensure proper · functioning. · Identify and troubleshoot issues or malfunctions in equipment and systems. · Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems. · Conduct tests and calibrations to verify equipment performance and accuracy. · Install, assemble, and dismantle equipment and systems as required. · Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. · Document all maintenance and repair activities, including the use of computerized maintenance · management systems (CMMS). · Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve technical issues. · Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and technologies to provide effective solutions. · Provide technical support and assistance to customers or end-users. · Perform service work across multiple customer locations daily throughout Southern California. · Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skill & Other Requirements: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina. • Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations. • Ability to handle multiple projects at once, switching between various tasks quickly. • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. • High school diploma or equivalent; required. • Technical certification or associate degree in a related field; preferred. • Strong knowledge of technical systems, equipment, and tools. • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
