OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for installing and servicing custom water processing, wash water, and environmentally responsible wash water containment systems used in both industrial and government applications and requires frequent travel.
As a service technician, you are the face of our company. We are looking for highly skilled and motivated individuals who can represent Riveer in a positive manner. While installations and preventative maintenance service work are scheduled well in advance, repair service work is scheduled on shorter notice.
The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in field service, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively.
This is a full-time position, paid weekly.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years of installation/service experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
  • Proven experience in field service or industrial maintenance is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on hydraulic systems and other industrial equipment.
  • Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing experience required.
  • Ability to work overtime.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • A customer service mindset.
  • Dependable.
  • Ability to pass a background check (a requirement for work done on military sites)
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while prioritizing tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members in a professional manner.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics
  • Install, service, and/or repair wash system equipment at customer sites.
  • Work with customers to understand their needs and provide timely solutions to equipment-related problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and any follow-up actions required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working in various manufacturing environments.
  • Frequent travel, up to 90% of the time.
  • Represent Riveer in a positive manner.
  • Able to complete training courses as assigned during off-travel times.
  • Other duties as assigned.
