Serioplast, a Global Leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging, is Looking for a Service Technician for the Headquarters in Seriate, Bergamo!

• Carry out the electromechanical installation and setup of machines and auxiliary equipment (leak tester, box filler, tray packer, stacker, cameras, etc.)
• Provide technical support on testing and commissioning new machines
• Test production lines, in particular EBM machines, pick and place, tray packers, control and vision systems, etc.
• Provide support to plants in start-up phase of new plants in identifying and solving technical problems to ensure a timely start of industrial production
• Make changes necessary for the line’s efficient operation
• Collaborate with the technical office in order to suggest improvements
• Travel for about 50% of the time.

What are we looking for?

• Excellent applied knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and/or electronic systems
• Good knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM and/or SBM and/or IM)
• Good knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment rules and practices
• Good knowledge of English
• Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role in a company producing machines
