POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for Service Technician to join our Innovation Technology Test Area team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing activities that will take place both within the Innovation & Technology area and at customer sites or end-user plants in terms of service.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical high school diploma/background.
  • Ability to read technical drawings (preferred, not mandatory)
  • Some experience in maintenance and/or tooling is preferred
  • Knowledge of the Windows Office package (in particular Excel)
  • Good manual skills
  • Predisposition to learn new instrumental technologies (strain gauge analyzers, vibration analyzers, phonometers, etc.
  • Attention to detail, precision, orientation towards quality and learning
  • Good knowledge of the English language
  • Open to travel in Italy and abroad
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
Responsibilities
  • The main testing activities will be related to performance tests of Company products, characterization of noise emissions, structural tests of various types, static and dynamic, preparation of testing machines, instrumentation of the components to be tested and assembly of standard products and prototypes.
  • The service activities will take place both in Italy and abroad, at customer sites or at various types of locations such as refineries, power generation plants, chemical sites, and new generation areas for the capture and removal of CO2.
  • These activities will include the supervision and installation assistance of the products supplied, the evaluation of the performances and the optimization of the most suitable setups to achieve the expected targets and those linked to customer satisfaction.
  • Strong discipline in following rules and safety standards.
  • Build strong relationships with the internal team and people at the customer site.
  • Generally, travel times range from 1 to a few weeks, with an average annual percentage of approximately 30% of the time.
  • The profile is completed by a natural interest in training and learning, dynamism and flexibility, and a natural propensity for sociability.
