Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 Hours Per Week, Additional Hours as required

Currently, we are looking for Service Technicians who share these same values, and is excited to help us continue our mission.
Service Technician: Your goal in this position is to provide high-quality, compassionate service to all of our clients. You know that a client’s independence, safety, and quality of life are often dependent on properly functioning mobility or home medical equipment.

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience repairing and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems
  • Skilled with your hands; soldering, mechanical, assembly, electronics modification, electronics troubleshooting, wiring, etc.
  • Comfortable and knowledgeable with manual and power tools
  • Construction skills is an asset with the ability to build decks and do minor framing
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Exceptional people skills and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills, internet and Microsoft office skills
  • Physically fit and able to lift 50-80lbs
  • Possess a valid Ontario Driver’s license with a clean record
  • Previous work experience in the Home Medical Equipment industry is an asset
  • The ability to establish good working relationships with Team Members, colleagues, and clients
  • Friendly, positive attitude and the ability to have fun working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, assemble, and/or install all types of home medical products and equipment in store or on site locations
  • Perform home and institutional service calls
  • Demonstrate patience and compassion with our clients and fellow employees
  • Assist with other departments in our store and general warehouse
  • Operate fleet vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
  • Follow all company safety protocol, policies, and procedures
