We run disciplined shops where techs have the tools, information, and support they need to produce — without chaos, bottlenecks, or surprises. Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and maintain Mercedes-Benz vehicles to OEM specifications Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs with precision and documentation discipline Communicate clearly with advisors and shop leadership to keep work flowing Protect guest safety and trust through quality control and comeback prevention Maintain a clean, organized bay consistent with Mercedes-Benz standards Perform test drives to evaluate vehicle performance and diagnose issues. Research technical information and consult with colleagues or service manuals to solve complex problems. Recommend preventative maintenance services to customers. Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment within the service department. Other duties as assigned How We Operate (Standards & Systems) Clear dispatching + steady work mix to protect your flag hours Modern equipment, updated Star Diagnosis tools, and OEM repair information Documented SOPs to reduce friction and cut wasted time Supportive shop leadership — coaching, feedback, and accountability Consistent parts processes to reduce delays and improve throughput Qualifications: Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity. Experience: 2+ years of dealership technician experience (Mercedes-Benz or European luxury preferred) Certifications: Clean driving record and valid driver’s license. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications is a strong plus. Commitment to quality, integrity, and guest care Steady communication with advisors, dispatch, and shop foreman Strong diagnostic and electrical skills; ability to follow OEM procedures Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Manual dexterity and the ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, reaching).
