Role Overview
The Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining windows and doors after installation. This role requires strong technical skills, a customer-first approach, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on windows and doors (uPVC, aluminium, composite, and timber).
• Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions to customer issues.
• Perform adjustments, resealing, and component replacements where required.
• Liaise with customers to explain issues and resolve concerns professionally.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Ensure all work is carried out to health & safety standards.
• Manage tools, parts, and company equipment responsibly.
• Work closely with the office team to schedule and prioritise service calls.

Skills & Requirements

• Proven experience in the window and door industry, preferably in a service/repair role.
• Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
• Good understanding of window and door mechanisms, locks, and fittings.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Full, clean driving licence (essential).
• Flexibility to travel within the service area.
