ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Service Technician to join our growing Service Team. This is a full-time position based out of our St. Mary’s location (conveniently located at 14 Given’s Rd)

SKILLS:

• 
  
  
  
• Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required.

• Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment.
• Proficient with shop tools, equipment, and diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of commercial grass cutting, or other engine powered maintenance equipment would be considered an asset.
• Attention to detail and dependability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  
  
  
• Experience in the repair of gasoline and diesel engines an asset

• Experience with turf equipment would be considered an asset.
• Ability to Read Service Manuals, Electrical and Hydraulic schematics an asset.
• Some experience with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Valid Certificate of Qualification in small engines, automotive service, or similar considered an asset.

• Maintain equipment functionality by performing lube, oil, filter, and tire changes, as well as painting and grinding.
• Set up New Turf and Golf Equipment following Service Manual instructions and following internal PDI Process’s
• Will assist with and be trained on how to correct equipment deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, dissembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems such as power and drive trains, electrical, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical and regulation publications.
• Keep shop equipment operational by following instructions and assisting with troubleshooting breakdowns.
• Assist with various shop duties as required daily.
