Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance on conveyor systems to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues on various types of conveyor equipment.
Carry out repairs, adjustments, and part replacements as needed.
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to support maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate service logs and report findings to the maintenance supervisor.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures during all work activities.
Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE during maintenance tasks.
Assist in the replacement of minor mechanical components as needed.
Requirements
NITEC / Higher NITEC in Mechatronic Engineering, or its equivalents
At least 2 to 3 years of working experience preferably in conveyor systems maintenance and repair
Familiar with different types of conveyors such as belt, roller, chain-driven
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, and basic knowledge of electrical controls.
Ability to work independently and respond to breakdowns promptly.
Able to work in fast-paced or high-temperature environments.
Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts if required.
