Prime Boiler Services is currently seeking skilled dedicated Service Technicians/Boiler Technicians to provide boiler repair services in Western Canada for our Service Department. The successful candidates will be knowledgeable about boilers we sell and repair, provide leading customer support and quality service. Service Truck, Cell Phone, Lap Top, Coveralls, PPE Allowance and Company Fuel Card provided. Dispatched from home rather than shop.

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years’ experience in a related field
• Class A or B gasfitter ticket
• Boilermaker trades certification would do well in this role
• Familiarity with fuel fired boilers and all related controls is an asset
• Availability for rotating on call schedule
• Ability to physically lift a minimum of 35 pounds without restrictions
• Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
• Jobs may be in the city or require travel out of town. Daily living allowance is provided for out of town work.

• Exhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership
• Able to communicate with dispatch and lead technicians to enhance problem solving
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment such as burners on steam and hot water boilers
• Provide preventative maintenance equipment
• Interpret equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service for our clients.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Manage your service truck inventory
• Use electronic time-sheet portal
• Ensure availability while on call as scheduled
• Adhere to legislative, company and client safety policies and procedures
• Remain current with federal, provincial and local codes and regulations
• In shop service as required
