Moving pallets of products on to the line they are “servicing” in a safe and efficient manner. Ensuring the area is organized, free of clutter, trip hazards.
Loading the exact product into a hopper or feeding vessel to meet the required packaging specification and customer expectations.
Organizing and stacking trays, pallets and materials for return or storage while the line is in operation or on changeover.
Ensuring the area is clean and tidy, sweeping the floor as necessary and remove waste and cardboard and placing it in the correct bin following the company color code.
Sanitation of equipment and facilities is a requirement for all staff as required.
Ensure that accurate and legible lot code in the correct format is placed on each package.
Verify the date code is accurate and is being recorded on the packaging inspection record.
MUST be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a frequent basis.
