Position Overview We are looking for a Service & Warranty Technician to join our Customer Care team and ensure that every home we build meets and exceeds homeowner expectations after construction is complete. This role is perfect for a hands-on problem solver with a keen eye for detail and a strong customer service mindset. You’ll be responsible for conducting inspections, performing maintenance, and resolving warranty-related issues with efficiency and professionalism. As a key point of contact for homeowners, you’ll work closely with trade partners and internal teams to deliver smooth, high-quality service experience. Key Responsibilities Conduct inspections and repairs related to truss movement, ductwork, and general home maintenance. Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems such as tankless water heaters and AHU systems (training provided). Manage painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs as required. Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners regarding warranty claims and service requests. Schedule, coordinate, and oversee warranty-related repairs with trade partners. Maintain accurate records of service requests, repairs, and homeowner communications using company software. Communicate with homeowners, trade partners, and internal teams to resolve issues professionally. Educate homeowners on warranty coverage and maintenance best practices. Qualifications and Experience Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction, home maintenance, or service-related roles, preferably in residential homebuilding. Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Proficiency with hand and power tools for general home repairs. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Valid driver’s license. Physical ability to climb ladders, lift heavy objects, and work in confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces, etc.). Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
