We are looking for a Service & Workshop Team Leader for the European Distribution Centre in ’s-Heerenberg.
This leadership role focuses on managing, developing, and coaching a team of 9–12 technicians within a technical service and repair environment. The Team Leader is responsible for the daily operation, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement of the central service workshop.

Based at the European Distribution Centre in ’s-Heerenberg, you will lead a team of approximately ten technicians. Together, you ensure that every bicycle leaves the workshop safe, perfectly tuned, and built according to the highest quality standards. You are visible on the workshop floor, contribute to improvement initiatives, and connect colleagues, departments, and international stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide daily leadership to a team of 9–12 technicians.
- Ensure quality, planning, productivity, and safety within the workshop.
- Coach and develop team members to help them perform at their best.
- Analyze KPIs and drive improvements in quality, efficiency, and processes.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in Logistics, Quality, Rider Care, and the wider European organization.
- Take responsibility for workforce planning, staffing, onboarding, and the performance of your team.
WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN
- Experience leading a technical team, preferably within the bicycle industry, automotive sector, e-mobility, or a similar service environment.
- Extensive technical knowledge of bicycles, both mechanical and electrical. Experience with suspension systems and wheel building/maintenance is a strong advantage.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how quality, productivity, lead times, and costs contribute to operational success.
- Fluency in both Dutch and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders in an international environment.
- A coaching and people-focused leadership style that motivates and develops team members.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and continuous improvement skills, with a constant focus on quality, safety, and results.
