Responsibilities
Receive customers with eagerness, by phone or in-person
Open the repair orders by indicating the information related to the vehicle to be repaired
Coordinate and book appointments according to workshop availability.
Accurately record the client’s requests on the Worksheet, one operation for each request. Always indicate the Repair Type.
If necessary, estimate the repair costs of the vehicule by examining the components under the truck, inside the hood or elsewhere and provide it to the customer.
Notify the customer whether repairs fall into manufacturer’s warranty or not.
Establish the method of repair payment with the customer.
Keep customer informed the status of parts necessary for repair (e.g., back order)
Promote preventive maintenance programs, specials or any other appropriate products and services for the customer’s vehicle.
Close repair orders once they has been verified by the workshop foreman, and assign the costs to the customer, the warranty or a request for a good agreement policy.
