JOB TITLE: SERVICE WRITER – ACHESON ALBERTA

We’re looking for a Service Writer to join our Lift Division team in Acheson. This role involves assigning the appropriate technician to each service call and ensuring our customers receive timely, accurate service. If you’re detail-oriented, motivated, and looking to further your career in the automotive/garage equipment industry, we’d like to hear from you!

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience as a Service Writer, Parts Advisor, or similar role
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office; prior Intellidealer/CDK experience an asset)
• Ability to understand and relay technical issues
• Class 5 driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract (required)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and support shop/parts tasks when required

Experience:

• Service writing: 3 years (required)

• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships
• Prepare cost estimates and source/order parts
• Accurately document repairs and parts in work orders using Intellidealer/CDK
• Schedule service technicians for jobs and coordinate customer appointments
• Communicate clearly with customers about service requirements, costs, and updates
• Provide backup support to the Parts Department as needed
• Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and accurate invoicing
