SERVICENOW ADMINISTRATOR

INCATech is searching for a ServiceNow Administrator to support a Federal Government ServiceNow Project. The incumbent shall be able to perform the following responsibilities and have commensurate experience.
As a ServiceNow Administrator, you will ensure the efficient administration of the ServiceNow platform while adhering to organizational policies and best practices. Key responsibilities include:

RELATED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with creation of reports, dashboards and views for various data consumers
  • Experience with incident resolution and testing
  • Technical Skills: Ability to configure and implement no code update sets (e.g., update picklists, non-workflow related updates to service requests) Full knowledge of security groups and user administration
  • Certifications: ServiceNow Administrator Certification
  • US Citizenship

Responsibilities
  • Platform Administration - Perform ongoing administration, maintenance, and monitoring of the ServiceNow platform to ensure availability, stability, and optimal performance. Implement platform updates and changes, such as no-code update sets, picklist configurations, and non-workflow updates.

User and Security Management - Administer security groups and manage user roles, permissions, and access in compliance with organizational policies. Maintain a secure platform by following best practices for user and group administration.

  • Knowledge Base Management - Manage and maintain knowledge bases supporting SecOps and IRM, ensuring content is accurate, relevant, and up to date. Create, configure, and test knowledge base updates, incorporating government-approved content. Support content creation and management to align with organizational objectives.
  • Incident and Problem Resolution - Provide timely resolution for incidents and issues related to the ServiceNow platform. Collaborate with stakeholders to test and validate solutions to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Reporting and Dashboards - Create and manage reports, dashboards, and views to provide actionable insights for various data consumers. Ensure data is accessible and accurately presented to support decision-making processes.
  • Configuration and Updates - Configure the platform to meet organizational needs, including implementing updates to service requests and other platform features. Ensure all updates are tested and approved prior to deployment.
  • Compliance and Best Practices -
  • Ensure platform administration aligns with organizational policies, procedures, and ServiceNow best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate system usage, recommending improvements to enhance user experience and efficiency.
