Work Schedule - HYBRID (3 days onsite, 2 days Remote)
Seeking an experienced, self-directed, ServiceNow Architect to support the VA in Herndon, VA and Remote work (Hybrid). The VA TXP ServiceNow Architect will be responsible for overseeing the architect and design of the TXP program in ServiceNow HRSD.
To strengthen focus on its core missions, the agencies made the decision to divest technology services related to HR LOB Shared Services and procure the services of IBM’s HR LOB Shared Services Center (SSC). IBM has migrated VA, GSA and GSA’s 32 external customers to its HR LOB solution, including both HR and time and attendance (T&A) systems. The solution is built on the Oracle PeopleSoft platform and continues to expand its footprint with new modules and new federal agencies.
The Talent Experience Platform (TXP) is an IBM solution under the VA’s HR LOB program built with ServiceNow HRSD and IBM AI optimizers that provides an experience layer that augments and enhances HR Smart and other VA HR systems, while also deploying case management and knowledge management features to provide a more personalized experience for employees and managers.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Architect and design ServiceNow HRSD solutions – 10-12+
  • Lead implementations of ServiceNow HRSD solutions – 10+ years
  • Engage with client stakeholders and customers to determine solution requirements and improvements – 8+ years
  • Engage with client executives to generate roadmaps and recommendations – 5+ years
  • Create roadmaps for technical offering growth and innovation – 5+ years
  • Understand and design integrations and interfaces with other systems – 8+ years
  • Understand and design data models – 8+ years
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills including effective oral and written communications – 8+ years
  • Bachelor’s degree

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s Degree
  • ServiceNow HRSD Certification
  • Understanding of other ServiceNow products
  • Understanding of other HR technologies (PeopleSoft HCM, Cornerstone On Demand, etc.)
  • Understanding and experience with NowCreate
  • Understanding of Agile development methodology and willingness to knowledge transfer
  • Experience with Federal agencies, their requirements, and their workflows
