Description Centennial Technologies is seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, architecture, and enterprise implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing ServiceNow solutions across federal environments. This role will serve as the technical authority and strategic advisor, driving platform architecture, governance, and innovation across modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM/HAM, and GRC/IRM. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in enterprise architecture, platform governance, and multi-module ServiceNow implementations, and will lead cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements. Requirements Define and lead the end-to-end ServiceNow platform architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise IT strategy, security requirements, and federal compliance standards. Establish architecture standards, design patterns, and governance frameworks across the ServiceNow ecosystem Serve as the primary technical authority for all ServiceNow implementations and integrations Architect and oversee development of custom applications, workflows, integrations, and automation solutions Lead design across core modules including ITSM, ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management), ITAM/HAM, and GRC/IRM. Design scalable CMDB architecture, including data models, service mapping strategies, and lifecycle governance Define and implement enterprise integration architecture using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, IntegrationHub, and external systems Establish and enforce platform governance, coding standards, and best practices Lead code reviews, technical design reviews, and platform health assessments Optimize platform performance, scalability, and maintainability across environments Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and audit requirements (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST, RMF) Drive adoption of Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, orchestration, and AI-driven automation capabilities Identify opportunities for process automation, predictive analytics, and AIOps integration Guide implementation of ServiceNow AI/GenAI capabilities where applicable Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, administrators, and engineers Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and enterprise architects to translate requirements into scalable solutions Lead architecture review boards and design authority sessions Support Agile delivery through sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical oversight Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in ServiceNow architecture roles Proven experience leading enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations across multiple modules. Deep expertise in: ServiceNow platform architecture and design CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping ITSM, ITOM, ITAM/HAM, GRC/IRM Integration architecture (REST, SOAP, MID Server, APIs) JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, UI Builder Strong understanding of federal security frameworks (NIST, RMF, FedRAMP) Demonstrated ability to design highly scalable, secure, and resilient systems Must have the ability to obtain public trust clearance. ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) Or ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) Work Conditions Location: Hybrid – At least 4 days onsite in Tysons Corner, VA.
