WHAT THE POSITION OFFERS YOU:

To support our growth in the ServiceNow Business Group in the Netherlands, we are looking for ServiceNow Consultants. As a ServiceNow Consultant you will be part of an innovative team, working to define and deploy world class customer solutions using the ServiceNow platform.
ServiceNow Business Consultant provides process and functional expertise as a consulting service to clients; contributing to the design and delivery of ServiceNow solutions including customer engagement, user requirement definition, change management, demonstrations, business focused testing and training. You will develop and demonstrate specialized knowledge and skills in ServiceNow as an enterprise solution.

EDUCATION (DEGREE) AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor/master degree in business, computer science or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience within the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, ITOM, GRC, SecOps, HRSD and/or other areas in ServiceNow)
  • Experience in consulting external customers
  • Knowledge of ITSM and agile ways of working frameworks like DevOps, IT4IT, ITIL

SKILLS AND QUALITIES

  • Strong experience in the full life cycle of Software Development, from business requirements analysis to solution design, testing and go-live
  • An understanding of Service Management concepts, delivery assurance principals and procedures
  • You will need to have strong communication skills both written and oral, ability to present solutions to customers including senior management and be highly focused on providing strong customer service.
  • Able to work as part of a team or individually to project timelines, you will need to be pro-active, creative, and able to research solutions and make recommendations, willing to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Strong personal commitment to quality service
  • Must have experience dealing with technical end-users in a service-oriented role.
  • Highly focused on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to switch between multiple tasks/projects/contexts.
  • Curious and self-learner
  • Ability to assume leadership and work without direct supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and like working with customers in problem solving mode.
  • Capacity to travel which will be necessary but is not integral to this position.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, another European language would be an asset.
Responsibilities
  • You will be a part of a team of ServiceNow specialists delivering ServiceNow solutions to multiple customers.
  • Leading workshops to demonstrate the platform and application function, define client current and desired state, and finally the proposed solution.
  • Building client understanding of ServiceNow functionality and presenting to a high standard of quality, including customers demonstration, story definition, testing, and supporting the wider sales and delivery functions
  • Mentoring and training more junior members of the team
  • Producing documentation and training material for the implemented solutions; training the client
  • Effective problem solver with ability to examine and re-engineer processes, procedures and practices
