POSITION SUMMARY

The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for day-to-day technical development, customization, reporting, and optimization of any new and current project implementation of the ServiceNow Platform on our contract. The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for development in all ServiceNow core architecture, including Service Catalog, Event, Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Asset, CMDB, Discovery, Knowledge, SecOps, Advanced Analytics, HR, Customer Service Management, workflows, orchestrations, and Self-Service Portal.
The ServiceNow Developer will be part of the Information Technology Department and work with internal business units to understand the day-to day operational needs of the organization with the goal of fully capitalizing on and realizing the capabilities of the ServiceNow platform. The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for delivering highly automated, secure, managed, and scalable technical solutions enabling the organization to focus on continually improving secure and compliant end user technology experience. The ideal candidate should be well versed in other development languages and should be comfortable working with APIs and scripts.

RECOMMENDED EXPERIENCE

  • End to end ServiceNow experience across multiple modules (including, but not limited to Incident, Request, HR, Catalog, Portal, Knowledge, Performance Analytics, Service Portal, CSM)
  • Develop, deploy, and test solutions including integrations and cross functional workflows
  • Expert development across JavaScript, Angular JS, HTML5, CSS, among others
  • Experience with full automation and process efficiency
  • Third-party software integrations and APIs
  • Knowledge of best practices around data
  • Work with internal business units to understand and develop complex solutions to meet company needs
  • Able to complete development and testing for any release or maintenance updates
  • Full documentation of engineered solutions and workflows
  • Providing technical coaching to internal teams
