Overview: Praescient Analytics is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support a current program for the Department of Justice. The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for designing and implementing solutions for new application enhancements in collaboration with development teams. This role supports customers across the Department and conducts actions such as investigating and remediating operations and maintenance (O&M) defects, developing new solutions for customers with varying needs, and providing comprehensive assistance throughout the entire development process to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of ServiceNow applications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. ServiceNow certifications preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow
  • Experience with coordinating the integration of various application components, such as ServiceNow modules, APIs, and user interfaces.
  • Experience leading investigations into production issues, including defects and enhancements, and executing technical tickets within sprints.
  • Have an understanding of database concepts, including SQL and relational database management systems.
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy JavaScript, Glide scripting, React, and other ServiceNow scripting languages.
  • Leverage web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and AJAX.
  • Implement IT Service Management (ITSM) modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and Asset Management.
  • Design and customize the user interface in ServiceNow.
  • Provide ongoing support to the development teams and conducts peer reviews of all code before it is released to production.
