MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a ServiceNow Developer Principal, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our customers. You will play a crucial role via the following: Build and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM modules like Incident, Problem, and Change Management Connect the ServiceNow platform with other systems and applications using technologies like REST/SOAP. Create custom scripts, including Business Rules and Script Includes, to automate processes and meet business requirements Perform administrative tasks, such as user and role management, system maintenance, and health checks Customize user interfaces, forms, and workflows to align with business needs Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for issues related to integrated processes and platform functionality Work with end users, stakeholders, and management to define and create reports, dashboards, and data analysis products Contribute to IT-related technical processes reviews, postmortems, and continual process improvement Create estimations on effort required to produce ServiceNow functionality Grow junior talent through mentoring, partnership, and technical reviews Maintain current ServiceNow and industry certifications, while obtaining additional certifications WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The ServiceNow Developer Principal must have: ● Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree ● Experience: 5+ years of related experience ● Required Skills: Experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow applications and modules, especially ITSM Proficiency with integration methods like SOAP, REST, and web services, including creating and consuming them Strong scripting skills with at least one language – preferably JavaScript Experience with ServiceNow's data management tools such as Import Sets, Transform Maps, and the CMDB Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and develop effective technical solutions. The likely salary range for this position is $123,250 - $166,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
