Job Description: Job Title: ServiceNow ITSM & SecOps Developer Location: PAN India Department: ITSM Experience Level: Mid/Senior – 6-10 years of experience Position Summary Key Responsibilities ServiceNow ITSM Development Design, configure, and customize ITSM modules including: Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management CMDB, Discovery, Service Catalog Knowledge Management & SLAs Develop and maintain workflows, Flow Designer flows, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, ACLs, and server-side scripts. Implement service catalog items, record producers, and automated provisioning workflows. Build dashboards, reports, and performance analytics indicators. ServiceNow SecOps Development Develop and enhance SecOps modules, such as: Security Incident Response (SIR) Vulnerability Response (VR) Threat Intelligence SOAR / Automation Engine Build security playbooks, enrichment pipelines, and investigation workflows. Integrate security tools including SIEMs (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), EDR platforms, vulnerability scanners (Qualys, Tenable), and threat intel feeds. Create automated response actions and orchestration workflows to support SOC operations. Platform & Integration Engineering Design and develop REST/SOAP integrations with external systems (monitoring tools, HR systems, IAM, messaging tools, cloud services). Implement MID Server configurations, data imports, scripted APIs, and OAuth/SAML authentication. Follow DevOps best practices for updating sets, source control, code reviews, and controlled deployments. Ensure platform performance optimization, governance, and security compliance. Process Leadership & Collaboration Work closely with ITSM process owners, SOC analysts, cybersecurity architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers. Participate in ServiceNow roadmap planning, upgrades, and feature enablement. Maintain detailed documentation for workflows, integrations, and customizations. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills 5–8+ years of ServiceNow development experience. Hands-on expertise with scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript, Python/PowerShell for SOAR actions). Strong proficiency with Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules, and Scoped Apps. Strong understanding of CMDB, Discovery, service mapping, and dependency visualization. Experience integrating ServiceNow with security tools, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems. Knowledge of MID Servers, IntegrationHub, Automation Engine, and Orchestration. ITSM & Security Expertise Solid understanding of ITIL v3/v4 processes. Practical experience with SOC workflows, incident response, and vulnerability management. Deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and SecOps architecture and best practices. Soft Skills Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities. Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead complex technical implementations independently.
