JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Serve as a Software Engineer supporting a government customer
• Support and deliver engineering services on ServiceNow platform
• Maintain and add new capabilities to the core ServiceNow platform
• Develop, test and deploy updates to ServiceNow, based on customer requirements
• Customize and configure ServiceNow applications, User Interface, and workflows
• Facilitate rollout of new applications and modules
• Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions
• Ensure tool configuration consistency across various environments
• Participate in on-going production and end user support
• Document testing and maintenance of system corrections
• Research, design, develop, and modify systems and/or application software
• Assist in planning system development/deployment
• Evaluate interfaces between HW and SW operational requirements, and characteristics

QUALIFICATIONS:

Active TS/SCI with a Full-Scope Polygraph
BS in Computer Science or related
16+ years of relevant experience

Strong understanding of ServiceNow Development Platform including:

• ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HR Module
• Customer Service Management (CSM)
• Asset Management, Change Management, Customer Development, etc.

Experience developing ServiceNow products using JavaScript and other applications
Database Administration (Oracle or MySQL) experience
IT project management experience
Familiarity with Scrum, Lean, Agile and DevOps
Experience with Java, Ruby, DevOps and DevSecOps​
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) cert (preferred)
