You'll be involved in maintenance, repairs, emergency response, customer interactions, and network improvement works while developing your technical knowledge and practical experience in the drainage reticulation industry. As part of the role you will be involved in: Maintaining, repairing, and unblocking wastewater and stormwater networks Installing and repairing drainage pipes, mains, valves, and manhole covers Carrying out jetting, rodding, root cutting, CCTV inspections, and network maintenance activities Operating small plant and equipment safely and effectively Reading and interpreting utility plans and network information Completing compliance checks, risk assessments, and work records using mobile technology Participating in the standby and callout roster Providing excellent customer service and communicating professionally with the public Following all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements at all times. Or willingness to work towards. The flexibility to work overtime and on a roster than includes shift work/ on call About us Wellington Water works in partnership with Fulton Hogan (an Alliance) to improve three water services across the Greater Wellington and South Wairarapa Regions.
