Services / Methods Engineer (f/m/d)

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to:

• Creation and approval of Instruction of Continued Airworthiness to support maintenance and overhaul for Rolls-Royce Business Aviation engines
• Validation of methodologies for effective and sustainable maintenance activities (on-wing/off-wing)
• Creation and approval of inspection criteria at component and system level
• Act as “Compliance Verification Engineer” to support changes to the type design
• Incorporation of physical and non-physical product changes into Rolls-Royce Instruction for Continued Airworthiness
• Identification of potential improvements to increase efficiency in the MRO area and the overall product Life-Cycle-Cost
• Working closely with internal and external customers like the Chief Engineers, MRO shops and Authorities
• Support Investigation of operational issues to develop containment, establish root cause and recommend corrective actions

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

• A completed engineering degree in a technical field (aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering etc.) Master’s degree or PhD
• Experience as a Compliance Verification Engineer in the CS-E area
• Many years of experience in engine assembly, repair and overhaul and experience in dealing with authorities and regulations (EASA Part-21, Part-145, CS-E regulations, etc.)
• Confident use of MS Office, SAP and Team Center, experience with ASD S1000D and S2000M desirable
• Knowledge of editorial systems (XML, SGML etc.)
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Communication skills and ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel worldwide occasionall
