Position Description: Services Safety Program Manager Reporting to the Vice President of Field Services, the Services Safety Program Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, documenting, and overseeing safety protocols, policies, and procedures for all field service operations. This role ensures documents and procedures are in compliance with OSHA and industry standards, mitigates risk during on-site service activities, and promotes a culture of safety across geographically distributed teams. The ideal candidate combines strong technical writing skills with working knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices, particularly in the field, but also in industrial and manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities: Design and manage safety programs tailored to field service environments, including electrical hazard protocols, PPE standards, and travel safety. Conduct risk assessments for customer sites and service activities; develop mitigation plans. Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses; implement corrective actions. Maintain compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and other relevant safety regulations. Deliver safety training and certifications for field technicians, including lockout/tagout, confined space, and electrical safety. Develop and maintain a field safety audit program and deploy a tool for field safety audits Audit field operations for safety adherence and provide coaching to service managers and technicians. Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to ensure service procedures align with safety standards. Track safety metrics (e.g., MIR, TRIR, near misses, corrective actions) and report to leadership. Translate regulatory and corporate requirements into clear, actionable written procedures and guides. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in electrical or industrial field service. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent credential preferred. Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E, and electrical safety practices. Experience conducting field audits, training, and incident investigations. Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed. Qualifications: Experience: 5 years of experience in EHS program development, technical writing, or regulatory compliance (preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings). Exceptional technical writing and editing skills, with ability to translate complex regulatory language into clear instructions. Familiarity with OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910), EPA regulations, and ISO frameworks. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple documents and version histories. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and experience with document control systems (e.g., SharePoint). Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments. Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour, OSHA 511, CHST, ASP, or other safety credentials. Performance Indicators: Reduction in safety incidents and near misses. Compliance with regulatory and internal safety standards. Completion rate of technician safety training and certifications. Timely resolution of corrective actions and audit findings.
