Job Title: Services Senior Staff Engineer Location: Manoteras, Spain (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-time The job The Services Senior Staff Engineer, MES plays a key role in designing and delivering high‑quality Manufacturing Execution System solutions. This role drives technical excellence, mentors engineers, and partners closely with manufacturing and IT stakeholders to enable reliable, efficient plant operations. You’ll join a collaborative, delivery‑focused engineering team that values practical problem‑solving, trust, and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities Lead MES solution architecture, including workflows, data models, and integrations with enterprise and shop‑floor systems. Configure and customize MES modules (production, quality, genealogy, OEE) and build required system interfaces. Guide and mentor engineers while ensuring high-quality development, documentation, and technical standards. Run technical workshops for requirements, design, UAT, and solution decisions with customer and internal teams. Oversee deployment, testing, and handover activities to ensure operational readiness and long-term reliability. Essential requirements 6–10+ years of MES or Manufacturing IT experience with proven technical leadership. Strong understanding of MES platforms, manufacturing workflows, and integrations (OPC UA/DA, SQL, APIs). Proficiency in one or more technical areas such as C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, or scripting. Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with customers and cross‑functional teams. Experience delivering complex technical solutions on time, with strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
