About the Role
We are currently hiring a Field Appliance Technician for a full-time, permanent opportunity based in Vancouver, BC. This technician will play a vital role in servicing, repairing, and maintaining commercial laundry and appliance equipment in various residential and commercial settings. The role offers autonomy, responsibility, and long-term career growth with a stable and reputable operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test commercial laundry appliances.
• Provide on-site service to clients with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls and parts usage.
• Manage and restock vehicle inventory and tools.
• Operate and care for a company vehicle responsibly.
• Assist with equipment installations and retrofits when required.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Certification in Appliance Repair or enrollment in a recognized program (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with appliance/equipment repair.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Must provide own basic hand tools.
• Flexibility for overtime, weekend work, and travel when necessary.

Work Schedules

• Sunday to Thursday
• Tuesday to Saturday

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $27.00 – $33.00/hour (based on experience)
