Intended Majors and Departments: Guest Relations Department Hospitality/Management majors Communications majors Marketing majors Psychology majors: with a path on human behavioral studies Security Department Criminal Justice majors Entertainment Department Performers and majors of the Arts: singers, dancers, costumed characters Costuming and Fashion majors: Entertainment wardrobe for performers Horticulture Department Horticulture and Landscaping majors/trades Food and Beverage Department Culinary majors and line cooks: Entry-level and experience-based positions Park Quality Waste Management Attraction Operations Recreational and Theme Park majors Hospitality and Tourism Human Resources Hiring/Onboarding and Recruitment Training and Development Finance Accounting, Payroll, Timekeeping, and Scheduling Marketing What You'll Experience: Exposure to the theme park industry which includes many departments and other subindustry experiences such as hospitality/customer service, management, operations, revenue, and general structure, leadership, and discipline of a workforce. Hands-on and real-world experience for resume enhancement Seminars with industry experts to help build upon knowledge of the theme park industry and its subindustries Customer service skills and de-escalation tactics, including how to best resolve and deal with customer scenarios of all levels Gaining and building upon skills such as leadership, communication, decision making, time-management, etc. Networking opportunities and newfound connections Complimentary Park admission for ambassador, friends and family complimentary tickets, and park food and merchandise discounts!
