We currently have an opportunity, for a sessional Community Support Worker instructor, to teach in our CSW certificate program. Courses take place in-person at our campus in Maple Ridge and sometimes online via Zoom.
We are looking for a candidate to teach and develop materials for our “Assessing, Recording and Reporting in Human Services” class. The candidate will have knowledge and first-hand experience in:

Courses will start in September, 2025 but potential course development would start immediately.
As an instructor, you are passionate about teaching, have superior communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, have a great attitude, can engage and maintain students’ attention, have the ability to teach at all learning levels, and strive to facilitate students’ success. Most of our students are new to the field so patience and clarity of instruction is a must.
The preferred candidate will possess three years’ experience teaching and/or presenting online and in-person. Consideration will be given to those with undergraduate degrees and/or professional experience in the field.
