POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will be expected to have earned at least a master’s degree in engineering and must have a demonstrated background in the subject matter related to the course. The successful candidate must also have very good previous teaching performance or show the potential for very good to excellent teaching ability, and a strong commitment to engineering education.
The Department of Geomatics Engineering programs are accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB). To maintain our programs’ accreditation, faculty must be licensed to practice engineering in Alberta. The successful candidate will be expected to hold professional engineering licensure with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) or with an equivalent association in another Canadian province.
