DESCRIPTION:

ANA300Y introduces the student to human histology, neuroanatomy, and gross anatomy. It is a full-year course divided into two terms and four quarters. The winter term covers organs systems (gross anatomy and histology) and musculoskeletal anatomy.

QUALIFICATION:

• PhD in anatomy or a related field
• Knowledge of anatomy and histology
• Teaching experience at the university level required
• Demonstrated evidence of teaching excellence and mastery of the subject area is preferred.
• Demonstrated evidence of teaching excellence in online format is an asset.
• Previous experience in teaching a similar course is highly preferred.

Preparation and in person delivery of course material (lectures, labs and tutorials); preparation and delivery of tests, final examinations; supervision of teaching assistants; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions and student contact hours
