The Computer Science Department invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following course during the 2026 Summer session:
Course Number, Section, and Name: CMPT 215.3, (02) Introduction to Computer Organization and Architecture
Term and Course Dates: Summer (July 2 – August 17, 2026)
CRN: 60040
Delivery Mode: This course is currently scheduled to be delivered in-person.
Course Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday. 8:30AM – 11:20AM
Expected Enrollment Limit: 80
Qualifications: Minimum of a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional work experience. Teaching experience will be considered an asset.
A valid driver’s license is required for off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.

Responsibilities
The Sessional Lecturer will be responsible for teaching the Computer Organization and Architecture course (CMPT 215.3, Section 02) during the 2026 Summer session, which runs from July 2 to August 17, 2026. This involves delivering instruction during scheduled Tuesday and Thursday morning sessions.
