Location: To cover across one or more of our 4 Housing services in Govanhill, Cardonald, Queen Margaret Drive & Maryhill.
Hours: Various shifts available covering days, nights & weekends, you choose what you are available to cover.
Salary:Dayshift = £12.60 per hourNightshift = £12.70
Driving Licence: Manual UK licence & own car desirable but not essential

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for Sessional Support Workers to join our Housing Resettlement Services, supporting individuals in the community with:

  • Mental health challenges
  • Trauma and addiction recovery
  • Social isolation and tenancy sustainment

Whether it’s helping someone feel confident in their own home or supporting them at a community event, you’ll play a vital role in helping people feel safe, empowered, and connected.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • To support and enable individuals to maintain their accommodation; develop budgeting skills, cook nutritional meals and managing their home.
  • Signposting and sourcing appropriate services such as Health Care, Housing Associations, Case Workers, Addiction/Recovery Services.
  • To carry out assessments and reviews of support needs as and when necessary due to the changing needs and aspirations of individuals.
  • To carry out Risk Enablement Plans as and when necessary due to the changing needs and aspirations of individuals.
  • Working with individuals to achieve their desired Support & Development Goals through use of an Outcome Measurement Framework called Better Futures.
  • To support individuals to improve their quality of life.
