DESCRIPTION
We are looking to employ a sessional Therapist in an exciting role, which is an opportunity to provide psychological therapy to patients receiving outpatient treatment within our Private therapy services.
This role is Hybrid - applicants must live locally to the hospital address, as this role is face to face & virtual sessions across two of our outpatient service sites at Bristol Hospital and Park Clinic.
Bristol Park Clinic, near Bradley Stoke and Patchway, is easily accessible by car, bus, and train via the M4, M5, and Almondsbury Interchange. Just off the M32, Bristol Hospital is a Grade II listed building with free parking, offering 77 beds across seven wards. Services include Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU), eating disorders treatment, acute care, rehabilitation, and recovery.

As a therapist, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be accredited with BABCP, BACP, or UKCP. Ideally, you will have at least three years of experience in an outpatient setting, with a proven ability to build positive relationships with clients and referrers. We’re seeking an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality therapy and has training in EMDR, CBT, DBT, or REBT. This position offers flexibility, with the option to work weekdays, evenings, or weekends to suit your availability.
