Residential Addiction’s care – helping our clients to rediscover life beyond addiction. Eden House is the first service in our brand new Division of Residential Addictions. Branded under “Flourish”, Eden House will be the first Priory therapy-led residential programme for people seeking meaningful, sustainable recovery from addiction and related behaviours.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our service users wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As Sessional Therapist, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of service users.
Provide crisis intervention and emotional support while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
You can find additional information in the attached job description.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
Candidates should hold relevant professional qualifications in counseling, psychotherapy, or a related field, with proven experience working with individuals affected by addiction. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT or motivational interviewing is essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, alongside the ability to build trusting therapeutic relationships, are required. Candidates must demonstrate the capacity to work independently, manage caseloads effectively, and maintain strict confidentiality. Registration with a professional body (e.g., BACP, UKCP) is often preferred.
We want you to succeed at Priory and thrive in your role. You will be well supported with regular career conversations. We also offer full training and numerous pathways into leadership and qualified clinical positions to help you shape your career with us.
