JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to support students in their educational journey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring or teaching, with a focus on fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves working closely with students who are not in mainstream schooling for a variety of reasons, you will be required to enhance their understanding of various subjects including English and Maths, while also catering to individual learning needs.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, with a strong understanding of educational principles.
  • Experience working with children, demonstrating patience and adaptability in various learning situations.
  • Knowledge of special education practices is advantageous, enabling support for students with diverse needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students and parents alike.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple students and maintain detailed records of progress. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on students’ academic success while fostering a love for learning in a supportive environment.
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance
    Pay: £20.00-£35.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week
