With 50,000 sq. ft. of DTLA studios, 30+ sets, and nonstop production cycles, we need an Art Production Assistant who supports our Set Designers and Art Directors in bringing creative visions to life fast, flawlessly, and at scale. Why This Role Matters More than a PA, you have an eye for aesthetics and do not mind getting your hands dirty in the process. Every frame matters. Every Set counts. From props to set dressing to product styling, small visual details shape big campaign outcomes. As Art Production Assistant, you play a critical role in the execution of our creative vision, helping transform concepts into production-ready sets that look beautiful, cohesive, and on-brand. You are the hands, eyes, and operational energy behind our art team—ensuring the entire creative process runs smoothly from prep to wrap. You help make the magic happen. What You’ll Do Manage Props & Materials Source, organize, track, and maintain props and décor items. Assist with prop shopping, shipping (receivables) pickups, returns, and vendor coordination. Keep the art inventory labeled, accessible, and fully stocked. Assist During Shoots Move props, break down sets, rearrange layouts, dress sets and troubleshoot visual issues Help with quick set adjustments, resets, and continuity checks and last minute adjustments Be on-set support for Art Directors and Set Designers. Support Art Direction & Set Design Set Prep detailing. Assist in prepping, dressing, and maintaining sets for shoots. Follow mood boards and creative direction to execute the desired look and feel. Ensure sets are consistent, clean, organized, and camera-ready. Maintain Organization & Workflow Keep art rooms, storage areas, and workspaces neat and production-ready. Document prop usage and track expenses as needed. Support packing/unpacking for multi-set, high-volume shoot days. Collaborate With Creative & Production Teams Work closely with producers, photographers, videographers, and stylists. Communicate needs and challenges clearly to keep shoots running efficiently. Contribute to a creative environment where visual quality is non-negotiable. What we require * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for 8 hour periods. Must be able to sit, stand, reach, and kneel for long periods Hands-On & Resourceful Creative: Comfortable lifting, moving, building, and problem-solving on set. Film carpenter mind-set Able to improvise with props, materials, and tight timelines. Props inventory and maintenance: You love visual aesthetics, décor, and design details. You notice things others overlook—placement, color harmony, styling, continuity. Organized & Reliable Strong at managing inventory, tracking materials, and keeping spaces orderly. You follow instructions well and execute quickly. Collaborative & Communicative Great attitude, team player, and easy to work wih under pressure. Calm, clear, and adaptable in fast-paced production environments. Passionate About Creative Production Experience in art departments, set design, visual merchandising, or styling Hungry to learn and grow in a high-volume studio setting.
