Hello potential candidate,
Tandem Set and Scenery are looking for a number of freelance carpenters to help us on an exciting project.
At Tandem we build and design everything from pop up bars for some of the most well known drink brands to escape rooms for biggest players in the market.
Here at Tandem we pride ourselves of the quality of our work and also our tight and friendly team. We are looking for a people that can not only work on their own but also as part of our team.
Candidates must have their own tools, experience working with set builders and be willing to put in overtime during busy periods and weekends when needed.
Candidates will also be expected to not only work in the workshop but also away on site which could be either here in the UK or abroad.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in hand tools and power tools for carpentry and joinery tasks
  • Experience in fabrication and assembly of structures
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design drawings and specifications
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: £180.00-£300.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability

Responsibilities
  • Construct and assemble set pieces using hand and power tools, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Collaborate with designers and directors to understand project specifications and timelines.
  • Perform joinery and fabrication tasks to create durable structures.
  • Execute heavy lifting and installation of set components safely.
  • Maintain tools and workspaces in a clean and organised manner.
