As a Set Builder based at our Leighton Buzzard studio, BUZZ, you’ll be a pivotal member of our Photo Studio team, working to deliver the high-quality imagery our customers love. You will be responsible for the daily upkeep and transformation of NEXT Home sets, ensuring they are shoot-ready for our photographers and stylists.  You will be responsible for a safe, functional working environment across the studio and executing construction tasks to meet shoot deadlines. By proactively solving problems and shifting priorities to meet changing demands, you will help the department maintain its reputation for excellence delivering world-class visual content for the brand.   WHAT YOU’LL TAKE ON * Manage the daily maintenance and appearance changes of 3 to 4 sets per day through second fix carpentry elements such as fitting skirtings, dado rails and decorative features as well as painting, decorating, and wallpapering. * Construct and install set features such as windows, walls, and bespoke furniture elements. * Collaborate closely with shoot teams to deliver practical solutions on set, including hanging shelves, pictures and installing set lights. * Prepare set elements in advance for upcoming projects to ensure a smooth transition between shoots.   WHAT YOU’LL BRING * Strong carpentry skills with experience in technical builds, ideally from a studio background. * Proficiency in painting, decorating, and wallpapering to a high standard. * A balance of technical precision and creative problem-solving. * A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse creative teams. * Technical skills in tiling or floor laying are welcomed, although training can be  provided * A Full UK Driving Licence is desirable You know Next, but did you know we’re a FTSE-100 retail company employing over 35,000 people across the UK and Ireland.
