JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in machining and manufacturing processes, with experience operating various machinery and tools. Previous experience working with Spring and Coils is an asset.
This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality components while adhering to safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment.
  • *Previous experience in a spring and coil industry is an asset
  • Proficiency in operating relevant measurement tools - Vernier calipers, height gauges, micrometers, protractors, load testers, etc.
  • Must have good attention to detail
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints accurately.
  • Experience with quality control processes and warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
  • Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor automatic spring machines and other machinery, and focusing on production of precision parts.
  • Set up and adjust machine settings according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Experience with using Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, load testers, protractors, grinding tools, etc. and other measuring tools
  • Perform quality control checks using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
  • Use hand tools and basic math and measurement skills for assembly tasks as needed.
  • Verify the relevant paperwork against production and machine outputs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
