MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years of experience setting up CNC machines (mills, lathes, EDM, grinders, etc.)
• At least 1 year of centerless grinding experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot across multiple machines

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and kneel
• Regular use of hand and finger dexterity
• Occasional sitting required
• Must utilize visual acuity to operate equipment and inspect parts
• Exposure to loud noise and moving mechanical parts
• Required PPE: safety goggles, mask, long pants, and closed-toe shoes

• Program, set up, and operate precision OD and centerless grinding machines
• Read and interpret complex part drawings and turn them into functional parts
• Perform basic set-up, tool changes, and minor adjustments to meet quoted cycle times
• Use multiple metrology methods (contact and non-contact) to verify part configuration and conformance to specifications (surface finish, straightness, concentricity, etc.)
• Develop tooling and gauging for complex geometries
• Troubleshoot machine issues during set-up and run cycles to maintain cycle time and quality standards
• Ensure daily output goals are met while maintaining expected quality levels
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering personnel to resolve production issues
• Maintain safety standards and comply with SOPs and FDA/ISO requirements
• Assist with special projects as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
