Description About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and reliable Set-Up Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our production equipment running efficiently, supporting operators, and driving continuous improvement out on the production floor. What You'll Do: Perform machine repairs and adjustments to maintain quality and uptime Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life Set up and complete machine changeovers to ensure smooth production runs Monitor machine performance and implement improvements to achieve 95% productivity Use tracking tools (Takt Boards, Productivity Sheets) to identify and address performance issues Communicate regularly with technical team members, scheduling and leadership about machine status, priorities and quality concerns Troubleshoot operator issues and recommend process improvements Assist with machine operation and material handling when needed Support LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement activities Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment Hours: Standard hours are Monday - Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Put on rotation schedule to work a Saturday and cover for opener (about once every 3-5 weeks) Available for weekly / weekend overtime as needed Additional Information: Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a drug screen if offered the role. Requirements What We're Looking For: Experience working with electrical sensors, PLC's, servo motors, servo drives, hydraulic and mechanical functions Mechanical aptitude and experience working with industrial machinery Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills Willingness to support production needs, including hands-on machine operations Commitment to safety, quality, and reliability HS Diploma or GED and a minimum of 5 years of applied related training and experience Work Environment / Physical Requirements: Ability to wear safety glasses and hearing protection Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods of time Ability to lift, push and pull materials up to 50 lbs. as needed Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling and reaching Ability to use hands and tools for equipment maintenance and adjustments Capable of safely operating machinery and handling materials such as fiber and wire spools Visual acuity to inspect brushes, equipment and identify defects Why Join Us?
