SETTING OUT ENGINEER

Rate: £300-£400
Venn Group is currently working with a leading building contractor who require a Setting Out Engineer to start 15th September.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction (degree, HND/HNC, or apprenticeship)
• Valid CSCS card
• Skilled in using Total Station, GPS, and laser levels
• Able to read technical drawings and set out foundations, drainage, and structural elements
• Experience on housing sites preferred
• Own surveying equipment required

• Lead setting out for a 6-bedroom new build bungalow from initial site clearance through to completion
• Accurately pin out foundations, drainage systems, manholes, and all groundworks using own surveying equipment
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to ensure precise layout and compliance with design specification
• Establish control points and benchmarks to guide construction teams throughout the build
• Collaborate with site personnel to maintain build accuracy and resolve any layout discrepancies
