Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Settlement Coordinator will primarily take the lead by collecting data and reports from all Recycling plants. This will include proper and timely creation of settlements. REPORTS TO: Production Control Manager SUPERVISES: N/A ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Create and distribute settlement statements. Communicate regularly with Operations staff. Update various spreadsheets and reports regularly. Create daily RIMAS reports for traders and plants. Field questions from Accounting and Buyers. Cross train with the Commercial Coordinator position. Support the Production Control Manager with any other projects as needed. Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position. Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes. Requirements EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Prior industry experience with manufacturing / metals preferred but not required Minimum 1 year office environment experience COMPETENCIES: Self-starter that takes initiative with a high attention to detail Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Physical Activity: Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs Physical Requirements: Sedentary work. Involves sitting most of the time. Visual Acuity: ability to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned including to make general observations of facilities.
