We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Settlement Processor to join our dynamic team.

JOB SUMMARY

The Settlement Processor will be responsible for managing real estate transactions from contract to closing, ensuring that all aspects of the settlement process are executed accurately and efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of real estate title and closing procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience as a Settlement Processor or similar role in the title/real estate industry
  • Proficiency with settlement software (e.g., SoftPro, Qualia, RamQuest, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of title insurance, closing procedures, and real estate documents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of accuracy, organizational skills, and ability to multitask under tight deadlines
  • Notary Public designation (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities
  • Review sales contracts and input data into closing software
  • Order and review title searches, surveys, payoffs, and other necessary documents
  • Communicate with buyers, sellers, realtors, lenders, and attorneys to coordinate all aspects of the closing
  • Prepare Closing Disclosures (CDs) and ALTA Settlement Statements
  • Resolve title issues, clear liens, and obtain necessary curative documentation
  • Schedule and facilitate closings, ensuring all documents are signed and notarized
  • Disburse funds, compile all post-closing documents and send final title policies post-closing
