As a Settlements Officer, you will play an important part in delivering a seamless path from loan approval through to completion. This role is well suited to someone who is organised, detail oriented, and motivated by providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, communication, and follow-through matter. Responsibilities Manage the settlement process from unconditional approval through to final settlement. Liaise with brokers, clients, lenders, and solicitors to keep matters progressing smoothly. Work to settlement checklists and deadline-driven pipelines to ensure documentation, funds, and approvals are in place on time. Follow compliance-focused handoff processes throughout the settlement journey. Monitor files closely, resolve issues promptly, and help maintain an accurate, efficient settlement process. 2+ years of experience handling loan files from unconditional approval through settlement, ideally gained in mortgage lending, broker support, or settlement coordination. Knowledge of regulatory requirements for lenders and experience following compliance-focused handoff processes. Experience working to settlement checklists and managing deadline-driven pipelines. Confident liaising with brokers, clients, and lenders throughout the settlement process. Business-fluent English. Eligibility to work in Australia. Experience managing multiple active applications at once is a plus. Familiarity with settlement systems and software is a bonus.
