We’re looking for a Settlements Team Member to join our Post Funding Exceptions (PFE) team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the completion of refinance settlements and safeguarding the security position of our lending portfolio. What’s the role? As a Team Member, you will work closely with the Settlements teams, external third‑party providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues delaying the finalisation of refinance settlements. You’ll monitor outstanding security registrations, investigate delays, and drive resolutions to ensure all settlements are completed efficiently. Key Responsibilities Support Settlements teams and external providers by resolving issues preventing the completion of refinance settlements. Monitor, track, and report on all files aged over 30 days where security remains outstanding. Allocate and investigate aged files, liaising with sales channels, clients, and stakeholders to achieve timely settlement completion. Provide reporting and updates to executive management and external third‑party partners on aged unsecured loan applications. Prepare and submit claims to our insurance provider for any losses related to unresolved OFI issues. Attend meetings with Westpac executives, insurance providers, and FMS teams as required. Ensure compliance with Risk & Compliance requirements, including Caveats and PCO/125 code standards. Reconcile invoices for payment of insurance premiums. What do I need?
